RAB is preparing to perform in Paris in 2026!

What does Paris have to do with RAB?  Oh là là!! The Artistic Directors of RAB were invited to continue their education at the Paris Opera Ballet this past summer of 2024. 

They were among 20 international ballet teachers from France, Denmark, Spain, Chile, and Mexico.  The inspiration and knowledge gained by listening to Madame Elisabeth Platel, director of the Paris Opera School,  among her incredible faculty that included former etoiles of the Paris Opera Ballet, was revolutionary.  There are few schools in the United States that have the French methodology.  While RAB predominantly teaches the Vaganova method (Russian method), it is always eye opening and refreshing to see different techniques taught by the absolute best in the world.

Jack and Michelle have returned inspired and ready to begin RAB's 4th season.  The directors know that art is an international language, and are excited to be in the preparations of bringing the students of Richmond Academy of Ballet to Paris in 2026. This art immersion trip will be a fantastic way to fully experience the beauty and oneness that ballet brings the world.
